    Class VzdService

    Methods

    • escape a search string to prevent LDAP-injection

      Parameters

      • value: string

        the search string to be escaped

      Returns string

      the escaped string

    • Searches the VZD directory using a raw LDAP query string.

      Parameters

      • query: string

        The raw LDAP query string

      • Optionaloptions: VzdLdapSearchOptions

        Optional search parameters like attributes and timeout

      Returns Promise<VzdEntry[]>

      A Promise that resolves to an array of matching VZD entries

    • Fetches a VZD entry by email address with optional caching.

      Parameters

      • mailAddress: string

        The email address to search for

      • noCache: boolean = false

        If true, bypasses the cache and performs a fresh search

      A Promise that resolves to the found VZD entry or undefined

    • Fetches multiple VZD entries by their email addresses.
